Eating Disorder Treatment

Eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia or binge eating disorder require specialized treatment with professionals who truly understand these complicated and multidimensional disorders. Treatment is delivered on various levels from hospitalization to outpatient care depending on the severity of the illness.

I recommend that individuals and/or families schedule a consultation with a knowledgeable eating disorder professional to determine the appropriate treatment plan and level of care. Treatment plans will vary between individuals. Most treatment plans should include a multidisciplinary team of consulting professionals in collaboration with the patient and family members.
